Counties Manukau Tertiary Education Regional Statement

The Tertiary Education Regional Statement is very much the result of a widespread and collaborative effort that has involved the territorial authorities, providers, those who require educated and knowledgeable people in their industries and businesses and various sections of the community.

This document is about the demand rather than the supply of education and training. Providers now face the task of relating their investment plans to the regional statement in preparing for their discussions with the Tertiary Education Commission.

For ITO's, business, industry and commerce, the challenge is to see that the development of the Regional Plan continues to be informed by accurate and up-to-date information on the needs of sectors and different industry groupings.
