What are the benefits of FreeB?
- No fees and take home notes.
- Self-paced classroom delivery guided by facilitators.

We currently have classrooms in Otara, Howick and Three Kings.
When can I start?
You can enrol at any time.
How long is each course?
Each course is 15-18 hours in length and needs to be completed within a maximum of ten weeks.

How long are the sessions?
Each session is 1.5 hours, starting at 9.00am in the morning and at 12.30pm after lunch. If there are evening sessions, these commence at 5.00 pm. We recommend you complete a double session when you start (3 hours).
Entry Requirements
People aged 16 years and older who are New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents are eligible to enrol. Textbooks are written in English.
Qualification
There are no tests, assessments or formal qualifications although a certificate of attendance is provided on request.
Where to from here?
Successful completion of all these courses mean students can continue their studies onto the free National Certificate in Computing (Level 2) in the same community classrooms as FreeB.
