General Programme Description (up to 300 words)
The proposal for a trades academy involving all the West Coast secondary, area schools and the local polytechnic, was approved in 2009. Further research and development work began in 2010, with a view to the academy commencing operation in Term One, 2012.
Progress updates will be provided during 2011 as the West Coast Training Academy is developed.
