Diploma in Information and Communications Technology (Level 5)
An ideal programme if you want to enter the IT field in one of the following roles: trainee programmer, software support and sales, helpdesk operator, service technician, trainee website designer, junior network administrator, junior database administrator. Available as a one year full time course or part time.
Bachelor of Information Systems
A degree level qualification leading to a career as a computer consultant, network administrator, database manager, programmer, information systems manager, systems analyst or multimedia developer. Available as a three year full time course or part time.
Diploma in Information Systems (Level 6)
Designed for students who have a tertiary qualification in a field other than information systems or work experience in the computer industry and wish to gain a formal computing qualification. This programme will allow you to specialise in an area of information systems that interests you. Available as a one year full time course or part time.
Certificate in Proficiency in Information Systems
This certificate is designed for qualified people already working in the New Zealand computer (information systems and information technology) industry who wish to update their skills and knowledge in a specific area, either to fill a gap in their current skill set or perhaps gain a totally new set of skills.
