Graduates from programmes at Manukau Institute of Technology, with further training experience, may also move into supervisory or management positions in the industry.

All programmes in the Vehicle Technology area offer both school leavers and mature students the opportunity to build a career path to take them into their chosen vocation with the ability for future growth.

The Vehicle Technology division offers some of the most highly skilled and qualified lecturers in the various subject areas and all the staff have extensive industry backgrounds. These staff are also continually upgrading their subject knowledge to ensure that modern industry trends are covered in the course material.

The Vehicle Technology division has a number of up to date workshop areas containing an extensive range of modern equipment to ensure that trainees are given the opportunity to work in an environment that will be stimulating and prepare them for an industry career.
