Our engineering qualifications at MIT's School of Electrical Engineering & Trades can really take you places. Our department boasts laboratories in electrical engineering, design, data communications, computer and computer network engineering, electronics, electronics assembly, and the Rockwell Automation Laboratory for industrial controllers.

We work on the principle of providing a sound base of practical work alongside an in-depth academic understanding of electronics and computing.

MIT is located close to the biggest industrial hub in Auckland, so students can easily access industry links for research projects and part time work. We may be able to help source your industry project for you, or could even introduce you to your future employer.
