Manukau Centre for Mechatronics
The Mechatronics Centre is situated on South Campus as part of the School of Electrical Engineering and Trades. The centre offers education in automation and robotics systems used in production machinery and where possible, provides the use of its facilities to assist industry with mechatronics training and solutions. Third year Bachelor of Engineering Technology students can be linked with industry at the beginning of each semester, depending on the availability of suitable students. Research and development work will be considered by staff within the school on a case by case basis.
