He has a further twenty years experience in the Port business where he led a stevedoring company specialising in container operations and cargo logistics. This role subsequently moved him into port management focusing on operations, design and capacity. It also provided a background in industrial and commercial negotiations.

Victor has extensive experience around the globe in the field of port development and operations, and brings a wealth of knowledge and best practice experience in an advisory capacity to the shipping industry. NZMS is privileged to have the unequalled expertise and breadth of experience for students to access as they progress through their careers.

“My favourite teaching practices include developing the ship’s officers of tomorrow and maximising the cargo capacities of ships, terminals and ports.” – Victor Dundas
