About the Programme
Choosing an industry-specific specialisation will maximise your career potential.
The specialisation options offered by this National Certificate are designed to give you an edge with an additional set of skills to help you secure administrative positions in the financial or medical fields. Entering the job market with one of these specialisations, you'll find yourself highly employable and in demand.
If you select the Financial Administration specialisation, you'll learn to analyse and interpret financial figures, and operate payroll and accounting software. The Medical Administration option covers the administrative technologies used by the healthcare system. Students are trained in MIT's award-winning business training centre which incorporates the Ricoh virtual office.
This qualification will also give you skills to maximise your employment prospects; targeted application letters, interviewing skills and CV design. Depending on your specialisation and work experience, you'll be able to open doors to roles such as accounts clerk, payroll administrator, receptionist, customer service assistant, secretary, medical receptionist, medical secretary, ward clerk, clinical administrator or clinical records-keeper.
