The aim of the National Certificate In Electricity Supply (Level 2) (Electrical Fitter) is to provide students with the skills and attitudes to work safely and professionally in the area of electrical fitting. Students may enter this programme following successful completion of the Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 2). The programme is also designed to pathway into a career as an Electrical Fitter or staircase to higher learning.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- MIT Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 2), or equivalent and
- Have English language competence to undertake this programme which is taught and assessed in English.
Any applicant whose first language is not English may be required to provide evidence of an overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 5.5 (with no band less than 5.5), or equivalent and
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- A strong motivation to work in the electrical supply industry
- The ability to work in a team.
- The ability to communicate in groups and one-on-one
- A mature approach to study
- A mature attitude to health and safety in the workplace
The above attributes will be assessed through an interview process and
- Applicants must be physically capable of completing the practical aspects of the programme.
