Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following entry requirement:
- Have an intellectual disability and/or other special learning needs.
All applicants who meet the entry requirement will be interviewed. The interview will provide an opportunity to discuss and/or assess applicants’ motivation to acquire the skills necessary for community living and work, maturity to attend a tertiary institution, and ability to communicate in English. Preference will be given to those who demonstrate achievement potential through the interview process.

$4,300 (approx)
Students on an Invalid Benefit may apply to Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ) for support with payment of fees.

This programme is tailored to individual needs. Students then have the opportunity to be referred to an employment agency which works alongside MIT to support students into employment.
