Modern Apprenticeships Co-ordinator Frederik Kruger and work place supervisor Stuart Marshall share in the success of Feagaigasolia (Sami) Amituanai and George Tupai.
Both modern apprentices successfully achieved both a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Electrician for Registration) (Level 4) and National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Switchgear Fitter) (Level 3).
Bremca Industries, a switchboard manufacturing and installation company provided training opportunities for the modern apprentices to complete both of these National Certificates during their apprenticeships. Only a small percentage of electricians nationwide achieve this duel qualification during their apprenticeship.
