Programme Development
How we can help
The Academic Centre facilitates the development, approval and accreditation of new programmes, as well as the review and redevelopment of existing ones. Our role is to ensure that all programme developments are rigorous, and based on best contemporary educational practice.
Academic Centre facilitates Professional Development for staff to operate effectively in the tertiary education environment, including pedagogical, regulatory and innovative aspects.
Academic Centre staff act as a conduit between Manukau Institute of Technology and ITPQ, NZQA, TEC, ITOs and other external educational bodies, to ensure that Manukau Institute of Technology remains fluent with regulatory changes.
