Counselling
Confidential support when you need it
Counselling is a process of talking through what is concerning you, with the aim of bringing about some positive change in the way you are experiencing your life. Our counsellors offer support for study and personal issues to help you achieve your goals.
How do you make an appointment?
For information or to make an appointment, please phone (09) 968 8072 or drop in to the Health and Counselling Centre. If you don’t have an appointment but need to see a counsellor urgently, we will arrange a time as soon as possible.
If you arrange an appointment, but cannot make it, please let us know so the time can be made available to others.

Generally, there is no charge for our counselling service. A full list of standard patient charges is displayed in the reception area of the Health and Counselling Centre. Sessions generally last around 50 minutes.
