International Students
Our service is designed to cater for international students who are generally covered by Uni-Care Insurance. Health and Counselling can invoice the insurance company directly so students will not have to pay to see the doctor. Conditions apply.
Some consultations are not covered by insurance and these include consultations for pre-existing medical conditions, pregnancy care, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, travel vaccines, minor surgery and immigration medicals. These consultation costs need to be paid by the student at the time of the consultation.
Immigration Medicals are available for international students at a cost of $120. Immigration medical forms can be downloaded from the Immigration NZ website.
