Mission Statement
Purpose
The Health and Counselling Centre supports the health and wellbeing of the Manukau Institute of Technology community through the provision of high quality, culturally appropriate, holistic healthcare and counselling services.
Vision
The multidisciplinary team is committed to providing an accessible and affordable primary health and counselling service. In collaboration with the local community, and in accordance with Manukau Institute of Technology's commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi, the Health and Counselling Centre will be responsive to the health and wellbeing needs of the diverse and changing MIT community.
Values
The Health and Counselling Centre staff will deliver health and counselling services in an ethical, professional and confidential manner.
Health and Counselling staff will uphold professional relationships based on mutual respect, integrity and effective communication.
