Students can meet Manukau Institute of Technology support staff during orientation. Orientation takes place at the beginning of each semester.

Pastoral Care for International Students
As an international student in New Zealand, you have the right to expect a certain level of pastoral care and support. Manukau Institute of Technology has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by Ministry of Education. Copies of the code are available on request from Manukau Institute of Technology or from New Zealand Ministry of Education www.moe.govt.nz
International Student Orientation
All students at Manukau Institute of Technology are required to attend International Orientation during their first semester.
