Hospitality, Restaurant and Bar

MIT's School of Culinary and Hospitality Studies is a unique restaurant and hotel training school. Established in 1993, our purpose-built facility combines the latest technology with lecturers whose up-to-date experience in the industry is backed by academic expertise.

As well as MIT's full-time and part-time programmes, a number of short courses are also available for those wanting to retrain or upskill in areas like food safety and barista skills.

Who should attend

Anyone employed, or preparing to be employed in the food industry.

Participants must be able to demonstrate competence in written English to successfully complete the assessment for this course.

For people who are responsible for liquor sale and supply in licensed premises. By law, every hospitality business that sells alcohol must have a properly qualified person in charge at all times.
