Here is your chance to gain some welding skills and learn a wide range of cutting and welding processes used on different kinds of materials and in different situations.

Apply these skills to make metal products, or repair and maintain equipment.

In our comprehensive workshops you will gain practical skills in MIG, TIG and ARC welding for different materials. You also have the opportunity to gain work experience and to sit your welding tickets if you enrol for further study at Level 3.

Who should attend

This course is aimed at welders who have either completed Welding 1 or who have considerable welding experience and wish to achieve competence toward AS/NZ 2980.

Participants may be asked to provide practical proof of competence through an entry test or interview.

Who should attend

Welders that have a certificate which has expired and need to sit a re-certification to NZ/2690 Standard.

This will allow the user to take a booth and have the necessary supervision to validate the users ability to weld and will enable the re-issue of a valid welding ticket.

Commercial companies looking for a cost effective re-certification process per position.
