Baking and Patisserie

Our baking programmes deliver all the practical skills you need from biscuit, pastry and bread making to the fundamentals of patisserie. These skills are backed up with the core skills in literacy, numeracy and communication you’ll need to succeed in the field. Plus, you’ll get real experience in real kitchens and on our campus bakery sale days.

Our facilities include purpose-built bakery kitchens, ensuring that our graduates are thoroughly grounded in all aspects of the trade. Students learn from industry professionals, and further this with practical work experience.

As a result, graduates of our programmes are work-ready and valued additions to the workforce.
