All our programmes are designed to keep pace with rapid changes in the global market, so if you want to become an engineer in the civil, mechanical, electrical fields where you could be engineering design, problem solving and working in specialist engineering fields like electronics, power, mechatronics, telecommunications, clinical, mechanical services and general mechanical engineering, then read on.

Our facilities

Our department boasts laboratories in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering, design, data communications, computer and computer network engineering, electronics and electronics assembly.

We work on the principle of providing a sound base of practical work, alongside an in-depth academic understanding of engineering science.

Manukau Engineering is located close to the biggest industrial hub in Auckland, so students can easily access industry links for research projects and part time work. We may be able to help source your industry project for you, or could even introduce you to your future employer.

New Zealand Diploma of Engineering Scholarship

If you're interested in studying the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (NZDE) we have 10 scholarships being awarded for the July 2019 intake.

Each scholarship is designed to cover two years' full tuition fees for the NZDE, up to the value of $14,000.
