Due to the Level 4 lockdown in Auckland we will be rescheduling any IELTS tests until after the lockdown ends.

Cancellation or Postponement

NZ$75.00

Candidates may cancel or postpone their IELTS test by notifying the test centre more than five weeks before the selected test date. There is an administration fee for postponement or cancellation of NZ$75.00.

Exceptional circumstances for postponement or cancellation may be considered by the IELTS Administration, on application.

Exceptional circumstances include:

  • Serious Illness - hospital admission or serious injury (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold)
  • Loss or Bereavement – death of a close family member
  • Hardship/Trauma – victim of a crime, victim of a traffic accident
  • Military Service.

Additional copies of test results

NZ$25.00

You can request an additional copy of your test results. Please complete the form, sign and email the form to ieltsnz029@manukau.ac.nz with a copy of your passport.

Re-marks

NZ$250.00

If you did not receive the score you expected, you can apply for your test to be re-marked. This is called an Enquiry on Results (EOR). You can choose which test sections you want to be re-marked.
The fee for this service is NZ$250, which will be refunded if your score is increased for any section of the test.

You need to apply for re-marking no later than six weeks after the test date, regardless of whether you have taken IELTS on paper or IELTS on computer. You can submit an Enquiry on Results online from the Test Taker Portal . Alternatively, you can download the Enquiry on Results form and email to ieltsnz029@manukau.ac.nz or contact the IELTS centre. Make sure you attach your proof of payment.

Your result will normally be available in 2 to 21 days, depending on several factors including the number of sections requested for re-marking. If you have not received a response after 28 days, please contact the IELTS centre.

Once we have received your application, passport copy and payment we will email you confirmation and receipt within 10 business days. You will also receive an access code for the Road to IELTS programme.
