Biography:
Mark loves teaching and has been doing so most of his working life. However, after completing a science degree from Auckland University he began with several other jobs including a lighting design engineer and the director of a building company before entering a career in teaching. This career in education has also seen him teaching in townships in Kenya, Botswana and South Africa for seven years, before returning to teaching in South Auckland, his hometown.
Why I love MIT:
I love working with our health and counselling foundations team and seeing students succeeding in their studies which means they can realise the careers they have dreamed of.
