Biography:
Musu teaches both level 3 and 4 of the New Zealand Certificate in Pacific Language (Gagana Samoa). He has been a part of the MIT whanau since 2018. ‘Musuiaiga’ is his orator title from the village of Lotofaga. He is very passionate about the Samoan language and culture, and is very active within the cultural contexts of fa’asamoa. Musu was born and raised outside of Samoa but has a lot of experience in teaching the language and culture.
Why I love MIT:
I love MIT because it is the only tertiary provider in the country that offers an NZQA accredited qualification for our Pasifika languages, and MIT is guided by values and principles that support learner success!
