Biography:

Sonja Maitland is at the beginning of her academic career. She joined MIT in January 2022 to work on the public health and health promotion certificate. Sonja is passionate about equity and health promotion. Sonja completed a Bachelor of Health Science in 2016 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health in 2020. Sonja has 4 years’ experience working in health promotion on the Northland Healthy Home Initiative.
