MIT Health Centre
All MIT students have access to friendly professional health and counselling services. Based on campus we’re here to help you and ensure your best health to be successful in your studies right here on campus.
Our doctors, nurses and counsellors are a multidisciplinary and multicultural team who provide confidential medical, health and counselling services.
As an MIT student it’s free to see nurses and counsellors, and if you register with the Health Centre you could be eligible for free appointments with the doctor. Eligibility criteria apply.
You can make an appointment with a doctor for a wide range of medical services including general health check-ups, sexual health, immigration medical and health screening. Our registered nurses can see you without an appointment to help you look after your wellbeing, including help with stopping smoking, nutrition and exercise.
We have a team of counsellors who can provide a confidential, culturally-appropriate and safe space for you to talk about any issues that are affecting you. If you’re worried about anything - from your studies to stress and anxiety, risk of harm, relationships, mental well-being, or just need someone need to talk to, call us today and make an appointment.
