Orientation week

MIT O Week Nau mai, Haere mai and welcome to MIT!

We warmly welcome you and your family, whanau, fanau to Manukau Institute of Technology. We are excited you are joining us for our orientation week.

We are here to support you from Day 1, and help you learn the skills you need to succeed.

This is now your place, and we have Orientation so you know who we are, can meet others, and find your place here in MIT.

This is our place, this is your place

Our Orientation week will give you the chance to meet other new students, join in some fun activities, and enjoy some great food. You’ll see where your classes will be, learn what student support services we have on offer and ask any questions you have. Join us, we look forward to seeing you there.

Lunchtime events at our MIT Ōtara and MIT Manukau campuses are from 24 and 25 of July. You’ll be able to find our MIT Student Support Hotspots (S2Go), which will be at the event, where you can talk to other students and find out about our services.

Check out the campus orientation activities below.
