Flexible learning in business and management

Study business and management with flexible learning.

Full-time study isn't possible for everyone so we've developed flexible learning to make it easier for you to get qualified. As a guideline, one credit equates to approximately 10 hours of learning which may include a mix of classes, online learning, workshops or work place learning.

  • Learner-centred design
  • Flexible course structure giving learners more options
  • Study in-class (daytime and evening options)
  • More frequent opportunities to enrol - four times a year
  • A wider range of in-class options across the day at MIT Manukau
  • Classes are held at MIT Manukau, conveniently located above the Manukau train station, in a purpose-built modern educational environment.

  • Two evening classes a week
  • 4-7pm
  • Refer to timetable.

Please note: Programmes are made up of a number of courses. View our current timetable and enrolment guide for more details. Timetables are subject to change.

Some components are online therefore you will need your own electronic device.

Speed up your qualification

Use your experience to get qualified faster

At MIT, we understand that learning comes in all forms — that’s why we’re proud to offer study pathways that recognise the value of your previous work, education and life experience.

Our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme is designed for those who already have the on-the-job skills and knowledge, but want to take their career to the next level with a qualification.

With RPL we can measure and match your existing skills against credits in our courses – creating a tailored path of study that will not only save you money, but also help you to complete your qualification faster.

The process is simple and we work with you to work out what we can tick off based on your experience.
