Needing childcare or know of someone who does?
If you need childcare on campus while you are studying, you can register with our on-site childcare centre at MIT Ōtara.
We’d love for you to join our MIT Children’s Education Centre on North campus, NE block, just inside Gate 11, opposite the carpark building.
We offer
- 30 hours free per week for three to five (3-5) year olds (conditions apply please get in touch with the centre for more information)
- Spaces for 0-5-year-old children
- High quality and affordable childcare for students, staff and our community
- Two main teaching areas for under and over twos and our large outdoor play area with multiple interactive zones, is a favourite, rain or shine
- Our amazing on-site qualified sous-chef prepares three healthy, nutritious and delicious meals daily
