What do I need to bring to orientation?

  • Your student ID number and your user name These are both found on the top of your Statement of Fees. This is sent to you as a PDF attachment with your enrolment email confirmation. Please see example below:
  • The laptop or other device that you'll use for study
The Tech Ready session will help get you set up and connected to the WiFi, printers, the student portal and other important apps for your study.

Depending on your programme, you may find that you need your own laptop and you might already own or have access to a laptop that is suitable. Check out the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) guidelines.
  • What do I need to have sorted before my orientation?

If you’re worried that you don’t quite have everything sorted, we have a getting study ready page that includes some helpful information for planning ahead before your first day.

When is the fun stuff and how do I stay up to date?

Keep up to date with events, activities, and announcements across our campuses by following the Student Life Facebook page, and Student Life Instagram or keep an eye on your email as you will receive a fortnightly student newsletter.
