Biography

Andy is a registered nurse with experience in ED and NICU. In his former life before nursing, he was in the British Army where he served as both a combat medic and royal military policeman. He enjoys comic books, Lego and music.

Why I love MIT

I love seeing students develop from day one week one and how we at MIT help them develop their full potential. It's fast-paced and fun. We have our students engage in practical experiences from very early on in their courses to build up their nursing skill set and confidence.

Scholarly activities

• Current research - the use of augmented reality systems in nurse training.

Research interests

• Clinical simulation, future-proofing nurse training, battlefield medicine.
