Biography

Graham has committed a frightening portion of his life pursuing a dream – to educate, and in turn – be educated. He has taught primary and intermediate ākonga in many parts of Te Ika o Maui. He has been a primary school principal for eleven years and eventually stumbled into Initial Teacher Education at Massey University’s Albany campus where the dream became clearer and more urgent. Graham lectured there in the one-year graduate diploma programme for 12 years.

He’s not done yet.

Why I love MIT

I love being around people who are up to something big. There is nothing bigger, or more rewarding, or sometimes more frustrating, than teaching the teachers.

Research interests

Graham has research interests in what makes Physical Education educational, in Teaching As Inquiry, and how a Poor Pedagogy is an educational strength.
