Eva is originally from Scotland and her clan is the Campbells. She has been at MIT for 12 years. Eva is passionate about teaching in diverse communities. At MIT Eva has taught across a number of programs including Counselling, Mental Health, Grad Cert in Cross Cultural Supervision, Social Work and Certificate Level 4 in Social Services. She likes to use art and other creative tools to increase confidence, have fun and encourage a ‘can do’ attitude and a love of learning. It is important for Eva to get to know her students so she can assist where needed. She likes to build a whanau and a net-working group that will take all her students right through their degree and into the professional world of Social Work. Her moto is, ‘Believe you can do it, and, you can’.
Why I love MIT
I love MIT because of the high level of quality support that is available for students and its student focussed programs. Students have a say here at MIT and we actively welcome their comments to better our programs. We call this, ‘you said, we did’. I love MIT’s creative and innovative delivery of its programs.
