Biography

Ishita has a strong background in education, facilitation, and curriculum development across diverse learning environments. She is currently completing her Master of Education (Research) at the University of Auckland.

Ishita has extensive experience in Philosophy for Children (P4C), inquiry‑based learning, and science education across diverse contexts in India and New Zealand. She has taught science and physics to Year 6–13 learners, facilitated professional development workshops, and delivered P4C programmes for both students and adults. Her contributions also include developing online courses, supporting research projects, and contributing to teacher manuals in India and New Zealand.

I enjoy the diversity at MIT. The people I teach and work with are exceptionally warm. It is a wonderful environment that embodies values that are quite close to my own.
