Matariki Market at MIT

Nau Mai, Haere mai Whānau! Auckland Council and Manukau Institute of Technology are proud to present Te Kete Aronui Makers’ Market, a family-oriented, community event to celebrate Matariki. On Sunday 12 July, MIT Manukau will be where it’s at for music, kai, arts and crafts.

Building on a legacy of Māori healthcare

Manukau Institute of Technology is launching a new qualification designed to attract more Māori to health careers and teach the skills they need to help address existing inequalities. Te Tohu Paetahi Tikanga Rangatira aa-Tapuhi, Bachelor of Nursing Māori (TTPTRT) is open to students from all backgrounds, preparing to deliver healthcare as a registered nurse with a particular focus on indigenous tikanga, reo and kaupapa.
