There is a good range of food outlets in and around the Ōtara campus. In addition to student cafeteria located in the Ōtara campus, we are proud to be able to offer our students a contemporary restaurant - Dine. Here, you can enjoy a bistro-style lunch or an elegant dinner for those special occasions.

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 3pm

Restaurant, cafe and deli


Dine is our training restaurant where the food is prepared and cooked by trainee chefs and the restaurant is serviced by students as they progress through their programme of study. Many of these students will follow a career in hospitality.

We invite you to join us for lunch or dinner and are proud to offer dining, lounge and bar facilities in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

The Grind

Here you can enjoy your favourite expresso and on student assessment days you only have to pay $1 per coffee. Yes, your favourite expresso for only $1.

You can purchase prepaid coffee cards for $10 but receive $12 in value for use on any day The Grind is open.

The Pantry

Here you will find ready to eat baking delicacies all at very reasonable prices.

There is a range of shops in the Ōtara Shopping Centre including a café, sushi shop, bakery, small supermarkets and fruit and vegetable stores. You can also find takeaway stores including McDonald's and Wendy's.
