Biography

2015 – present

Industry Engagement & Simulator Training Manager, New Zealand Maritime School, Manukau Institute of Technology:

  • Managing largest Transas Full Mission Bridge simulator in Southern hemisphere, including DP simulation and two full mission TugSimulators;
  • Teaching at all grades of nautical qualifications;
  • Nautical Examiner at all levels for STCW qualifications and Domestic.

2001 – 2014

Lecturer and Senior Lecturer, Programme Coordinator, Foreign Going programmes, New Zealand Maritime School, Manukau Institute of Technology:

  • Teaching at all grades of maritime qualifications;
  • Examiner at local validity level of maritime studies and STCW qualifications;
