MIT had the honour of hosting Terisa Siagatonu – a renowned US poet of Samoan ancestry who spoke to students about her life and craft.
In 2012, she received President Obama’s Champions of Change Award for her activism as a spoken word artist and community organizer.
During the set, Terisa recited an untitled work inspired by the Christchurch terrorist attacks and the shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle.
