Who should attend
Seafarers holding an existing STCW-Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF) certificate of proficiency are required to complete this refresher course every five years to maintain proficiency under the STCW 2010 Manila Amendments.
Course highlights
Refresher training to apply safe work practices and contribute to effective communication and emergency response to fire on board a vessel.
This course meets the requirements of STCW Section A-VI/1.3.

Entry requirements
Please supply the following prior to attendance in order for fire site/s to do their security checks:
- Copy of certificate
- Recent evidence of sea time; either 12 months in the previous five years or 3 months in the previous six months (only for certificates that have expired)
- Enrolment Form
- A current Medical Fitness Certificate
- Passport/Birth Certificate
- Copy of your current Basic Fire Fighting Certificate/Refresher certificate.
