Certificate and transcript FAQ
Do I have to pay for my certificate?
No. However, if you would like this posted, you will need to pay a courier fee first.
What if I can't make it to pick up? Can someone else pick it up for me?
Yes, you can authorise someone to collect on your behalf – please email their full name to
studentrecordrequests@manukau.ac.nz and advise them to take photo ID.
Can you post my certificate?
Yes, we can courier certificates to your preferred street address (no PO boxes) at your request. Please note, courier fees will apply and need to be paid in advance. Please email
studentrecordrequests@manukau.ac.nz.
Can you send it by standard post?
No, to ensure the safety of your certificate MIT policy is to only send via courier – we cannot post by standard mail. The safest option is to collect from campus.
How much is postage?
If your address is within New Zealand postage is $10, Australia $40, USA $140, Canada $95, India $95, China $80 and all other countries are $50.
What is a transcript and how do I get it?
A transcript is a certified statement detailing your complete academic record at the institute including details of all course results, completion details and qualification.
Complete this online form to request the official transcript of your Academic Record. A processing fee of $25 applies (two copies) plus $12.50 for each extra copy ordered. You can also visit the Ask Me! student services team to fill out a request in person.
How do I get a replacement certificate?
If your certificate has been lost or damaged or your name has changed we can replace your certificate. You can’t order extra copies of your parchment.
To request a replacement certificate email studentrecordrequests@manukau.ac.nz. Make sure to include your full name, ID number and qualification. A processing fee will apply (certificate/diploma $25, degree $40 each) plus postage.
