Academic transcripts and awards

You can request a copy of your academic transcript or to have your award reissued when you've graduated in absentia or it's been lost or damaged.

Academic transcripts

An official transcript is a certified statement detailing a learner’s complete academic record at the Institute.  It includes details of all course results, completion details and qualifications.

You may want a copy of these details for your own records or to use when applying for a job or for further study at another tertiary provider.

Academic transcripts can be ordered online or in person from the Ask Me! Student Services Centre.

A processing fee applies to all transcripts issued as well as a shipping fee if not picked up in person. Payment can be made through online banking or at any Westpac branch. The processing time for an academic transcript request is approximately 10 working days.

Transcript FAQ.

Awards

Once you successfully pass all the requirements of your programme, you will be entitled to receive your sealed award.

Awards are conferred at graduation ceremonies, however if you are unable to attend a ceremony, you can graduate "in absentia". Please note that you cannot attend a graduation ceremony at a future date if you graduate in absentia.

If you are graduating in absentia, you can collect your award from the Ask Me! Student Services Centre approximately 4 weeks after the graduating ceremonies. Please bring a form of identification with you.

Alternatively, you can request that Academic Registry post it to you; please email StudentRecordRequests@manukau.ac.nz with your full name, student identification number, postal address and qualification details.

If you require a reissue of your lost or damaged award you will need to complete the Request for Reissue of Award form and submit it to the Ask Me! Student Services Centre by email, or in person. Please note that a processing fee applies to all reissued awards.

All certificates/parchments can either be:

  1. collected by the student
  2. collected by a nominated person authorised by the student
  3. sent by courier (with signature) at the cost of the student

The exception to this is all L1 – 4 qualifications (including National and NZ Certificates) within Auckland only that can be:

  1. collected by the student
  2. collected by a nominated person authorised by the student
  3. sent by standard post
