Biography

Amanda is a seventh generation Pākehā of Swedish, Scottish and German descent and calls Tamaki Makaurau home.

After completing a Masters degree in psychology Amanda found herself working in health promotion and fell in love with this mahi. She completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health in 2017 which solidified her passion for all things public health.  

Now with over two decades of experience working across various sectors in public health she is delighted to be working alongside students at MIT undertaking the Certificate of Public Health and Health Promotion.
