Biography

After 15-20 years as a veterinary nurse, Dayna transitioned her career to focus on counselling and lecturing after navigating the Bachelor of Applied Counselling programme at MIT. Based in Tamaki Makaurau with her family (partner, daughter and 3 border collies), she is pursuing a Masters in Indigenous Studies at UoA while working part-time as a lecturer with MIT and also counselling within the community.

Why I love MIT

I appreciate MIT's diversity; it brings a great energy to the learning atmosphere. Being around people from various backgrounds and perspectives adds a unique and enjoyable dimension to my experience here.
