Biography

Paula has 30+years working in pharmacy after gaining her BTEC Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences (pharmacy technician qualification in the United Kingdom). She has worked in different hospitals in the United Kingdom before moving to New Zealand. A few roles later (including Dispensary Manager at ADHB) she was lucky enough to be asked to help develop a new qualification for pharmacy technicians.

Why I love MIT

I love my role at MIT as I get to teach a subject I am passionate about. Having always been involved in teaching pharmacy throughout each of my roles, being involved in the development and delivery of this specialised qualification is extremely fulfilling.
