Course highlights

Refresh practical application of personal survival techniques, applying safe and sustainable work practices and contribute to effective communication and emergency response on board a vessel. The operation of survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats. Apply safe work practices and contribute to effective communication and emergency response to fire on board a vessel and to refresh the directing of fire-fighting operations on board a vessel.

You will need to send us copies of certificates needing to be refreshed and for those certificates that have expired, you need to provide evidence of sea time; either 12 months in the previous five years or 3 months in the previous six months (only for certificates that have expired)

Spaces fill up fast, please enrol early to avoid disappointment. Also please note, upon successful completion of your course(s), your STCW certificates may take up to 10 working days to be issued.

This course meets the requirements of STCW Section A-VI/1.3.
