Biography

I have BSc in Highway Engineering from University of Transport and Communications (Vietnam) and MSc in Building Engineering from University of Greenwich (UK). I came to New Zealand in 2015 and completed my PhD in Civil Engineering at University of Canterbury in 2019. My PhD aimed at developing magnesium silicate hydrate cement for sustainable construction materials.

Before joining MIT, I was a civil engineering tutor at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology (June 2018 to April 2020) and ARA (2016).

Industry experience

I have over five years of professional experience in highway design, bridge structures, and residential project development.
