MIT Otara

School of Hairdressing

Study hairdressing with hands-on training in our fully operational hair salons. You'll work with real clients and become familiar with the equipment and products found in the hairdressing industry. 

School of Baking, Culinary and Hospitality

If you dream of working in the world of hotels, cafés and fine dining, make it a reality by gaining hands-on skills and a qualification that’s valued by the industry. Study options include Baking and Patisserie, Culinary, Hospitality and Café, Barista and Restaurant, and International Diplomas in Cookery and Baking

School of Primary Industries - Horticulture

Study Horticulture and Landscaping or Arboriculture at our specialised learning facility including our plant and tree nursery.

In addition, we have developed relationships with both industry and other tertiary institutions which allow us to deliver our programmes at the following teaching facilities:  

Ko Awatea

Study Nursing at Ko Awatea, a dedicated education unit for Counties Manukau DHB.  Situated at Middlemore Hospital this unit provides access to teaching facilities including 17 workrooms, an e-library and creative learning spaces.
